A marquis cut is an elongated, boat-shaped (or "navette") faceted gemstone with curved sides and two-pointed ends. Marquis cuts maximize surface area, appearing larger than other cuts, and elongates the wearing surface. All of our threadless marquis cuts are safe for initial piercings, compatible with industry standard threadless backings and are an innovative approach to threaded jewelry, but just as reliable with the right bend by our professional piercers.
